The Bike Shop Race Team Text Graphic

The Bike Shop is excited and proud to sponsor three different race teams. We are very active in racing and try to promote cycling in all the disciplines. All our riders have earned their spot on our teams by showing determination, dedication, and discipline. These racers are examples of fitness and character that represent all good things in the sport. Need advice or encouragement at the local race?... see our racers! Remember, attitudes are the armor of the insecure. trophy.jpg (75907 bytes)

Owner David Grigsby and his son Jeremy have collected a little hardware while bicycle racing. They have been competitors in Road, Mountain, and BMX racing for nearly 10 years.

This page is currently undergoing a complete revision.
We have had a very successful couple seasons with wins all over the Southeast United States in various races, but have very few photos to show for it.
We are planning to correct this very soon.

Some of the highlights of our past season include wins at the Bakers Dozen 13-hour Mountain Bike Challenge in South Carolina by yours truly, Josh Gilbert, and Kenny Gaines in the 3 man division, as well as Gold and Bronze medals at the Bluegrass State Championships.
Our resident mountain goat Jeff Collier trained with us this spring and entered his first ever road bike race in McMinville Tennessee this summer. He not only won his Category uphill time trial by over a minute over the second place rider (our own David Hayes), but he posted a time that put him 13th among the Pros!!!! Now that boy can climb.
More results and photos to come.
